About
Cyberiada is a nationwide competition for university students, with teams of 8–10 participants divided across five regions. The first stage is a 24-hour game jam, and the theme was ‘mask.’ Despite having plenty of experience from previous game jams, working in such a large team proved challenging, especially since half of the members were participating for the first time. However, we ensured that everyone was comfortable, got enough rest, and understood their tasks at all times - so we managed just fine.
I was one of the two programmers on our team, responsible for the UI, player controls, upgrades, and level design. I also pitched the game idea and designed the power-up and combo systems.
Our game was awarded ‘Best in Region,’ and as a prize, we were invited as guests to a radio show at GramyNaMaxa.
